WAKE UP!!!! - our morning

Some people wake happy, and thrilled to start a new day…. Others have to get dragged out of bed, looking like they haven’t slept, not cheerful at all.
Our family is the later… we are NOT morning people; it doesn’t highlight our shinning personalities. ;)

This morning was no exception. 1st I oversleep. Bub is meant to be my alarm clock, and she did a great job of getting me up at, 2.00am, and 5.40am, but she failed at the 7am. I really should have stayed up from 6am. I was tired and thought, won’t sleep, just rest my eyes! Pity my brain didn’t understand that idea and put me into the deepest slumber I had all night.
7.40am I jolt up and think OH NO. The house is super quiet, NOT GOOD!
Run into the kids rooms, eldest DD thinks it is Sunday, when I tell her it is Wednesday, it is my fault that the day changed. (Geez I also wishing it was Sunday, I’m good, but not so amazing I can change days on this planet purely to piss my kids off LOL)
DD 10 years decides she is sick, really sick, her tummy aches, and her head, oh her fingers throbbing too, if I didn’t walk off I’m sure every other body part she could list was also in pain.
Eldest DS gets breakfast ready. As the fake sick child comes out he pretends to spit in her bowl, NOW we are ALL awake! It sounds like a murder is happening in our kitchen; this at least entices the rest of the kids out of bed. Everyone wants to see a good sibling fight. :)
They wake bub, and she is starving, it isn’t like she is fading away. Apparently she must feel like she hasn’t eaten for days. I still find it amazing that such a little person can make such a colossal noise!
After getting DD a fresh bowl, and telling DS that it is NOT OK to spit or pretend to spit, we finally get some food into the tribe.

After food, most are slightly better, and we can start catching up, so we can start this new day.
